Individual Therapy

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral. Therapy (CBT) and some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). The basis of CBT and DBT is that it is not the problem itself but how one perceives the problem is often the problem. Therefore, our thoughts about an issue leads to our behaviors.

I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for those dealing with trauma. EMDR is an evidence based approach specifically utilized for trauma and the anxiety that can accompany trauma.
